Activity for Life 2022

The Activity for Life took place on 8th-11th September in the Lot Valley. Up to twenty-five cyclists (varying in number day-on-day) took part and on 10th September, there was a 7.5 km walk where between 20 and 30 walkers took to the pathways around Douelle. A special mention for the four-legged friends who also walked with us, and what great company they were.

So far, donations raised, total just under €7 000 with more promised. This has been a wonderful response at a very difficult time and we thank everyone who has donated.

The Activity for Life is not, however, all about fundraising, even though it is the single event that CSF (National) hold each year. Activity For Life is about raising awareness and bringing people together from as many Associations as possible over a few days of fun and conviviality. This was certainly achieved at this year’s event.

Many thanks to all participants, however many feet or wheels they had, a grand weekend was had by one and all.
